To ensure our children remain active and engaged at home, Resilience Gymnastics College are excited to provide online classes in the format of on-screen sharing. Each week, there will be a range of classes scheduled across the different skills levels with every class being led by a qualified Gymnastic coach. You do not have to be a Resilience member to join our classes.
We've also made joining classes as easy as we can for you, introducing a single registration and a $10 flat fee per session through your Customer Portal. This means you will only need to register and pay for each session you want to attend. Alternatively though, you can register for multiple sessions at the one time if you want.
Please note that all classes will be held in a group format - i.e individual feedback will not be given. This format was decided upon based on parent feedback. In addition to this, it is important to understand that these classes are for strength, fitness and basic skills only. They will not include apparatus based or aerial skills.
How it works
Search the Classes available below to find your relevant class.
Select the 'Register here' link that applies to your child (member or non-member).
Find or enter your child or children's details, select your class and proceed to pay.
Just prior to your class time, come back to this webpage, go to the timetable and select 'Join Class'.
You will then be taken to the online class using Webex (not Zoom).
For your first class you attend, you may be required to download the Webex app or program first.
Join the class, say Hi, have fun and do your best!!
Who can attend?
Whilst our online classes have been designed for our current Resilience Gymnasts, children from outside of Resilience are welcome to join our online classes too! Everyone from those children who have never done gymnastics right through to those who are already registered at another club.
IMPORTANT NOTE FOR NON-MEMBERS:
If you are NOT a current Member of Resilience, as per the conditions set out by Gymnastics Australia you will need to be registered formally as a Gymnast at our club after 30 days from your first class. At this time, if you are not already with another gymnastics club you will be required to pay a one-off insurance fee of $65 as a registered member of our club.
If you are a Gymnast from another gymnastics club, you should have already paid your insurance with your current club and therefore will not need to pay it again. That said, we will still need to register you as a Gymnast at our club and inform Gymnastics Australia that you have a multi-club registration (which we can do for you).
If you have any questions about which class to enrol in, please email us -
WAG FUNDAMENTAL - GIRLS
This class is for children who are currently in Bronze, Silver or Gold Fundamental. It will also be suitable for children from outside of Resilience for entry level/fundamental fitness and strength.
This class is for children who are currently in our WAG ALP 3 program. It is designed for a high level of strength and fitness (but not as advanced as ALP 4+). Please only attend if your child is in one of the levels below.
This class is for children who are currently in our ALP 1, Gymstar and Youth Recreational classes. It will also be suitable for children from outside of Resilience for older kids at an intermediate fitness and strength level.
Payment is required at registration. Pricing will be $10 per session, per family. This means if you have siblings in the SAME level they can both attend for $10. If you have siblings in DIFFERENT levels though - eg 1 x fundamental and 1 x squad - payment will be required separately for each session.
We feel $10 is a fair price considering a coach is required. Whilst the 'per session' price is consistent across the levels, the weekly cost will be higher for those kids attending more sessions. For this reason, we have decided not to charge more per session for squad or comp kids.
No refunds will apply.

Why is this not free for our children?
We need to pay for a Coach to attend each class. In addition, as a club we have been hit hard by the forced closure of our gym due to the Coronavirus. Our monthly expenses are all still there and yet our income was turned off overnight. These online classes will be of great benefit for our children and our overall community in remaining active and engaged, but also serve as a key driver to getting our club through this.
What happens to my Term 2 deposit / payment? If you have paid anything towards term 2, it will be held in our account and applied to the term when we re-open.
Can you offset my paid Term 2 deposit to pay for this?
No, sorry. We must keep these classes completely separate.
I have more than one child at Resilience, can I get a discount?
Pricing is per session, per family. This means if you have siblings in the SAME level they can both attend for $10. If you have siblings in DIFFERENT levels though - eg 1 x fundamental and 1 x squad - payment will be required separately for each session.
What if the online class times don't suit me?
The timetable cannot be changed, however if there is enough interest (min. 5 children) in a new time slot, please email us and we may be able to create a new class subject to Coach availability.
Can all of my children participate in the same class?
Only if they are in the same levels. Otherwise they will need to attend the class that they are enrolled in normally at the college or the class that best matches their capabilities if a non-member.
Can I invite friends to these online classes?
Yes, but they will have to register and pay for their own attendance.
What's stopping people from sharing the Class link for free?
Our Coaches will complete a roll call at the commencement of each class. If anyone attends that has not registered and paid they will be removed and banned from attending any online classes moving forward.
How do I know which class my child should be in?
If you are a member at Resilience, please register your child in the same class that they are enrolled in normally at the college.
If you are not a member, read through the class descriptions and register for the class that best suits. Otherwise, please send us an email requesting a call back and we will assist -
How many classes can my child do per week?
You can register your child into as many classes as you like each week as long as those classes are within their capabilities. For example, a Fundamental (boy or girl) may choose to enrol in an Acro class, but they can not enrol in any Comp or Squad classes as they are too advanced.
Do I have to attend the same classes every week?
No. Refer to answer in previous question.
Do I need any gymnastics equipment to attend classes?
No. These classes are designed for strength, fitness and skill development. You will need to ensure that your child has enough space that is clear from any objects or people. Please also make sure that your child is doing their class on a mat or carpet.
What happens if I arrive late to a class?
The class will go on as scheduled but you can enter at any time during the class. Please note that no refund will be given for late or no attendance. It would be unfair to all of the children who are on time if we had it any other way.
Can I transfer my registered session time to another day if I cannot make the class?
Can I get a refund if I change my mind?
Can I have a discount for bulk classes?
Can I have a free trial?
Can I attend online classes if I still have outstanding fees?
How many kids will there be per class?
We're not really sure to be honest. Each class may vary in size depending on the number of registrations. We will not cancel classes outlined in the timetable though.
Do I need to be in the same room as my child during their class?
Children must be supervised.
Will my child be given feedback by the Coach?
No. Whilst our classes will be held in a group format, our Coaches will do their best to engage with the children, but that being said we will not be able to provide individual feedback.
Can I speak to the Coach about my child's development?
Not in relation to the online classes as they are aimed at strength and fitness to keep the children active and engaged.
Can I have private lessons with a Coach?
Yes, but nothing that is equipment based as we are not covered for that. Private coaching sessions will be $35 per hour. For more information, please email
Can a child who is not enrolled at Resilience sign up for these classes?
Yes.
If you are a Gymnast another gymnastics club, you should have already paid your insurance with your current club and therefore will not need to pay it again. That said, we will still need to register you as a Gymnast at our club and inform Gymnastics Australia that you have a multi-club registration.
