M.A.G. – Fundamentals

A Fundamentals Gymnastics coach will teach the gymnasts basic skills of gymnastics which incorporate strength, flexibility and fitness activities to allow the gymnasts to develop.

Each class runs for 60 minutes including warm up stretches, jumps and movement to allow bodies to perform skills and exercises with warm muscles. Our coaches plan out each class to ensure the gymnasts are getting the maximum skill development at a comfortable pace and in safe environment.

Every gymnast is different and from starting in a beginner class we assess all participants for their readiness to move up into programs more suited to their development.

M.A.G. – Australian Levels Program

The MAG Australian Levels Program is a national framework established by Gymnastics Australia that provides male gymnasts with pathways to develop their full gymnastics potential, and progress within the sport.

The Resilience MAG Levels Program focuses on preparing our young male gymnasts to represent Resilience Gymnastics at external competitions. These gymnasts train at a high level, with training hours ranging from 4-17 hours per week. Our gymnasts train a range of basic to advanced skills on all MAG apparatus – Floor, Pommel, Rings, Vault, Parallel Bars and Horizontal Bar. The program also has a large focus on strength and flexibility, as these are essential elements that any elite gymnasts must master. We strive for near perfection, and our gymnasts are often pushed to their limits, only so that they may accomplish greater heights. Resilience Gymnastics levels programs provide male gymnasts with many opportunities to develop their potential and progress to more elite levels.

While our gymnasts are regularly and continually pushed beyond their comfort zones, we ensure that our key goal of a fun and positive experience still remains.
